Australia Cultural Discovery Tour

The 16-day Australia Cultural Discovery Tour was organised in July as part of our school’s English Immersion Programme. It comprises a 50-hour Practical English course that encompasses different topics like Language Arts, Global Issues, STEM, and history. Moreover, the English course has provided ample opportunities to learn English meaningfully through group projects, product showcases and social activities with international students from places like Italy, Russia, Japan and more. During their time in Sydney, our students experienced local life and many of them expressed that they have learnt how to live independently by staying at their home stays. To see more of the world, our students visited iconic sites while completing challenges to learn about them. They visited the Sydney Opera House to admire its architecture, the Wildlife Sydney Zoo to learn about Australia’s local wildlife like koalas and kangaroos; the Blue Mountains to admire nature’s beauty; the Cockatoo Island to understand Aboriginal history and many other places! Overall, our students commented that they have gained a lot from the study tour, like learning how to communicate in English effectively and meaningfully. They all look forward to our school organising more English Discovery Tours in different parts of the world.
