Digital Literacy (English Speaking Day)

The Eighth English Speaking Day on Digital Literacy took place on May 22. In the morning assembly, the English teachers introduced various aspects of digital literacy, such as digital search skills, managing online identities, internet safety, and avoiding digital plagiarism. During recess, students engaged in discussions with the English Ambassadors to explore what it means to be a digitally literate internet user and how they typically utilize iPads and smartphones. Some students even delved deeper into the issue on using Chat GPT to assist them with assignments. The highlight of the day was the S.3 Workshop, where students showcased their creativity by designing and constructing robots using recycled materials. They enthusiastically shared and described their ideal robots with their fellow schoolmates.
