Our History

Lok Sin Tong Leung Kau Kui College was founded in September 1991. Originally named Lok Sin Tong College, it was later renamed Lok Sin Tong Leung Kau Kui College in 1993 to honor the generous donation of HKD 1.5 million by the renowned philanthropist Mr. Leung Kau Kui. In the early years of its establishment, the school temporarily utilized the premises of Buddhist Sin Tak College at 70 Bonham Road, Sai Ying Pun. However, in September 1992, the school moved to its permanent campus located at Nos. 26-28 Hospital Road. This site was formerly shared by Yew Chung College of Commerce, Leung Man Kui Yu Yan Sang Memorial Secondary School, Yu Dao Sang Memorial School, and Kennedy Town Government Secondary School. In July 1992, Yew Chung College of Commerce, Leung Man Kui Yu Yan Sang Memorial Secondary School, and Kennedy Town Government Secondary School relocated from the premises. In August 1993, Yew Chung College of Commerce also moved to the New Territories, allowing our school to fully utilize the entire campus.
