The third English Speaking Day, held on November 22nd, focused on the theme of "Sports and Be Strong". The day began with the English Ambassadors encouraging schools to engage in exercises and prioritize their health. During the morning assembly, teachers highlighted the benefits of sports and discussed some renowned athletics.
Throughout the day, various activities took place. Junior form students interacted with the English Ambassadors during recess, discussing their favorite sports and players. At lunchtime, the movie "Space Jam: A New Legacy" was screened. Regarding the level activity, S.2 students delved into the stories of Paralympic athletes, creating profiles to share with their peers. This activity aimed to raise awareness about the achievements and challenges faced by these athletes.
By participating in these activities, students not only engaged in conversations related to sports but also learned new vocabulary associated with sports and the Paralympics. It was a day dedicated to promoting physical activity, healthy habits, and appreciation for athletes of all abilities.
